The El Rocío festivities this year will take place from Friday, June 6th, to Sunday, June 8th at the Pinewalk in Santa ponsa. There will be a market every day along with fair attractions. It truly is an event for the entire family!
Programme:
Friday 6 June
7:30 p.m. Procession of the Virgen del Rocío from the church of Santa Ponsa to the fairgrounds.
8:15 p.m. Inauguration of the Rocío festivities.
8:30 p.m. Performance by the dance group of the Casa de Andalucia in Calviá.
10:00 p.m. Performance by the ‘Arborea’ group.
00:10 h. Performance by the group ‘Compas Na’.
Saturday 7th June
10:00 a.m. Pilgrimage of the virgin from Santa Ponsa to Son Ferrer.
8:15 p.m. Performance by the dance group Asociación Cultural Alma Flamenca Calviá.
9:30 p.m. Performance by the ‘Aires de Azahar’ group of the S’Olivera Association.
10:00 p.m. Performance by the group ‘Jaleo’.
00:10 am Performance by the group ‘Isla Gana’.
Sunday 8th June
8:00 p.m. Rociera Mass sung by the ‘Coro Rociero de Mallorca’ (Mallorca Choir).
20:00 pm Performance by the dance school ‘Jessica Blanco’.
22:00 Performance by the group ‘Oxalis’.
